DoctorKaizeld
Also, don't get discouraged by corruption, I had to restart my work on the field because the heightmap editor corrupted my first attempt.yeah fighting the dark side can be hard. I can agree on that. While I think Twilight Princess had the better environments over all, Ocarina of Time did some areas better.agreed. i like how TP world felt but Kakariko Village was better and the Zoras didnt have enough involvement. Yeah, the Zoras were just kinda there, and while I did like the more western feel to Kakariko, it didn't quite feel right.
DoctorKaizeld
Yeah, the Zoras were just kinda there, and while I did like the more western feel to Kakariko, it didn't quite feel right.i agree, though i felt TP was far to asian. i know the series is made by a Japanese group, the series just seemed more diverse in Ocarina. though i did like the towns and how to Gorons were done. Huh, I actually got the opposite impression from it-it felt like a much more western approach to me, which would make sense, given that it was made as a direct response to Wind Waker's poor reception in the western market. I can definitely see what you mean, but I felt like it was inspired much more by western fantasy, more so than any other Zelda in my opinion. Yay Link and Malon, best couple ever!^_^ Really. http://z7.invisionfree.com/My_MaLink_Forum/index.php? A ranch of some sort is almost a gurentee, but Malon will be a no-show, unfortunately. I might add a Malon-esque character, but given the time period the mod takes place in, she would not make sense.
duude98
Started painting textures and adding rocks and trees to the field today. At the current rate I could definitely finish that by the end of the month. Anyway though, anyone want to help me finish making some dungeons and/or design bosses? I can only work on one thing at a time, and while most of the dungeons are playable in the sense that you can get through them, most are not complete, and I would need to start working on that after I finish the field, which is still a ways off. duude98
Been working on the landscape some more, and it is nearing completion. I added textures, roads, and trees, and these screenshots are the results. I can't show off the whole map because lod is generating incorrectly or for older versions of the map(somehow) on parts of it, so here is what worked. Let me know what you think!https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99w7miVD7qpRVNXdjBvYkVvc3M/view?usp=sharinghttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99w7miVD7qpYkUxT1Z3eHFqV0U/view?usp=sharinghttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99w7miVD7qpM05CRFVjX2pCSkE/view?usp=sharinghttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99w7miVD7qpS3dDdXRxbmI5TVE/view?usp=sharinghttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99w7miVD7qpV1lzMUxJdThVT0E/view?usp=sharinghttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99w7miVD7qpT2lKVTVFV3lIREU/view?usp=sharingEDIT: just realized that most of those links were for severely outdated screenshots and have already been linked in the original post. I have removed them so you can see just the new ones. Again, let me know what you think! Edited November 17, 2015 by duude98
