Ian, I know that right now ANY ask is a BIG ask... But if there is no change in the customcontrolmap.txt, could you either just don't include it or comment on it in the readme? I guess that SOMEONE could try using f4se for the first time on any version, so I guess that just leaves commenting 'No change in CUstomControlMap.txt from previous version...'.(See what I did thar? Copy Pasta...)

i put in 1.19.7, & fose said game version error LooksMenu version error: expected 1.5.416.0 your game version is 1.6.3.0, some features mnay not not work correctly. What's up?

I noticed that at least 1 mod isn't working, 'full dialog interface'. It is back to the old bethseda short talk.

Currently getting a CTD (crash to desktop) at the title screen. Did also put in some new mods but follow the order LOOT advised. Anyhow F4SE is in Beta right now so I'll wait before assuming anything. Anybody's game running with the beta version?

^^ Having the same issues I've tried disabling the mods that use f4se and no luck

Is there any way that Bethesda could work more with the modding community, specifically Silverlock and Nexus, prior to releasing updates? Myself, I would rather forgo an update a few extra days if it gave Silverlock in particular time to update F4SE to the new mod. I mean, Bethesda has been very good to provide mod-ability to the community why not extend that?

It becomes very frustrating to be playing along then suddenly have to wait several days to resume play while the community catches up with what was otherwise a minor update.
