So if nobody's mentioned this yet, it looks like Bethesda rolled Fallout 4 back to the previous version, because people were reporting it breaking the game.

From the looks of it, though, most of the people reporting the game as broken were doing it because of their F4SE being out of date, so yeah...

hahahahahaha and most players don't visit forums or even go to beth.net.

The update only added 2 features for the Beth.net mod authors. And I chuckled at Beth making it sound like they added something really nice.

Fallout 4 1.7.19 and Nuka-World Update

29 SEPTEMBER Update (9/30): - GSTAFFBETHESDA

We are investigating an issue with Mods not appearing properly with the 1.7.19 update. We are working to resolve the issue quickly and we may roll back the 1.7.19 update temporarily until we can get a fix tested and deployed. Thanks for your patience.

If you had planned ahead, you'd have a backup of 1.7.15 and 1.7.19 fallout4.exe. (as well as their respective f4se counterparts...) FIRST thing I do when I get a new fallout4.exe is copy it, and name it to the version. Then, if there is no updated f4se, I delete that exe and copy in the previous one. This works for me... I normally keep two back versions of the fallout4.exe and the f4se files I also have version controlled customcontrolmap.txt files. It is a bad habit I learned from using Skyrim and Oblivion.

Anyone know anything about an incompatibility between F4SE and ReShade? I'm getting occasional, random crashes when I use ReShade, and there's been talk about F4SE and ReShade not playing nice. For example, the Clean Light ENB preset page has a warning about it, and suggests not using F4SE.

I've googled several discussions and there doesn't seem to be any definitive agreement about it. Some people say Shadow Boost is the problem, but I don't use it. Others say that taking screenshots is the problem, but that isn't true for me. The only thing I know for sure on my system is that ENB alone works fine, but ReShade causes crashes. I always launch via F4SE.
