KloKri3ger
Check your mods, you might have an out-of-date F4SE mod (such as LooksMenu, I know it gives it's own error message like that). Thank you! Will check everything again :)

forum42087
Hello, I am just wondering if the Data folder included in the latest version is now meant to be installed or if it is still the usual _for_test_only folder? I noticed there are a couple new scripts included in it but I cant determine if it was intentional or a mistake not placing it back in the _for_test_only folder. The readme has no mention of it and in fact still refers to the _for_test_only folder. I am also curious about the CustomControlMap text file, the readme only says to install the 2 .dll's and the executable but what is the use of the CustomControlMap? Is that only needed for script extender plugins to have access to more/varied key functions or something similar? I appologize if I have been a pain, I only want to understand. Cheers! ayqh
I updated the f4se and installed the latest version of looksmenu(v 1-2-1), but I got CTD seconds after entering the game, before I could load any saves. Anyone having similar problem here? (deactivate looksmenu will fix the problem but I really like that mod..) Pavel8873
My in-game time is frozen after I exit the workshop menu. Could it be F4SE? It started happening around the time of the 0.3.0 update. I disabled all of my mods and it was still happening. Then I started the game without the f4se loader and it was fine. Then it was still okay with my mods enabled, but as soon as I started the game with the f4se loader, the problem is back. I don't know how else to troubleshoot this. i0Bjhansen0
I can't get Fallout 4 to load. I have F4SE 0.3.0 and Fallout 4 1.9.4 and it won't load right. When I load F4SE it goes to the launcher. When I press play, it loads the launcher again. I disabled all my mods and it still does it. I tried to rename the F4SE loader to the Fallout 4 Launcher and it didn't work either. I verified the game cache and restarted fallout 4 and it won't work. Not sure what else I should try and what else someone would need to help me. I had had 1.8.7 (?) of the dll still there but that wasn't the problem because after I deleted it it still didn't work. You could try going to the properties of the f4se loader, under the compatibility tab, check the "Run this program as an administrator" box. ..In my experience, when I double-click the f4se loader, Steam starts, the launcher comes up and I hit exit. Then the next time I double-click the f4se loader, the game launches. ..kind'a weird, but it works.

Not sure why, but it always happens. If Steam is already running, it works fine.
