TES V: what do you want to see?

Advance cinematic physics system similar to HL2 Episode 2

Bleeding effects also similar to HL2 episode 2

The ability to climb up trees

Water Refractions

Destructible objects

Durability of weapons, shields, armors affects its appearance (blunts, cracks, scorch marks). I also want to broken weapon's shattered pieces fly off rather than unequip automatically.

Realistic NPC behaviors and reactions

Throwable knives

A skooma syndicate faction which you can join

NFSMW style guards system- I really hate the way the guards chase you to death when you commit a crime. I'd like to see the legion send more men to find you, change their average weapons into something more powerful(perhaps enchanted), & post wanted posters of you(complete with detailed information) depending on your bounty. It would also be nice to have a horse chase with the legion trying to knock you down off your horse.

The ability to ram/stomp NPCs with your horse.

And lastly, carriages which you can hitch a ride on.

I would definetly want to see this:

- Real jobs, not guild jobs but REAL jobs (like bartender, guard , farmer, shepherd...)

- More freedom of choice. You can always say yes or no. And you can work against the emperor and the imperials.

- No quest NPCs/Items. Everyone is mortal and you can drop or sell everything.

- You can make a rebellion and defeat the evil tyrants that rule the land, and you can install any political system that you please.

- You don't start as someone from a prophecy, or someone that the emperor saw in his dream unless you choose so.

- Survival skills. You have to eat, drink and stay warm if you are to stay alive. And if you go into the Jeralls naked or lightly dressed, you get a cold or a fever or something.

- The world adapts to your actions, for an example, if you kill someone and someone sees you or you get arrested, people in town talk about that.

- In Oblivion, even if you are a merchant, people say you're an adventurer. I hate that, and I also hate the facts that half the missions are dungeon-oriented. Why do some people like going into some ugly dark cave and kill undead folks?

- You can build a house, or chop down trees and everything.

- If you go to jail, you don't just click on the bed and serve your scentence. You have to survive every day in prison, and go with the dayly schedule of prisoners.that will actually make roleplayers regret that they commited a crime.

- If you are Argonian and you hang out in Black Marsh, slave hunters come and take you as a slave(if you let them), so you have to serve them.

- There is NO guild or company you can't join. For an example, everyone in Leyawiin is talking about those Renrijra Krin. If you are Khajiit too, why can't you join them? Same thing with Blackwood Company.

- More roleplaying, less fighting.

- More realism, like when you are running nekid people will scream and guards will told you to put on your clothes.

- Yep, more freedom on choosing the storyline. ex : you can become guildmaster in various way, kill the old guildmaster or whatever.

- More spells!

- BRING BACK MY MORROWIND ADAMANTIUM ARMOR!!

- More weapons

- Build customized house/ hire a constructor to build your customized house

Shameless Plug Here

I'd like a better target "refresh rate" in combat. Whenever large-scale fights come into a town, the evil hordes will always seem to chase down one fleeing villager as the guards fill them with arrows.

I want to see a tailoring profession, with easy and intuitive controls for making any custom outfit (think spore) so I don't have to wait forever for someone to make a decent witchy looking out fit for my Grettel.

Also, I want to only be master of one guild at a time, with actual choices, and responsibilities, and tasks associated with the position. Its lame that you become the guild master then suddenly nothing more is required of you, ever.

1. This makes no sense. Why would a gang of bandits or evil necromancers not attack on sight?

2. The Dark Brotherhood doesn't work that way. Other people hire them to assassinate someone; they don't decide who they want to kill.

3. The AI isn't complex enough to do that, and it's a stupid idea anyways.

4. That would be nice, actually, but the engine can't handle it.

5. You mean islands? Um...no comment.

6. That would be nice, if there's enough water, that is.

7. Pirates, yes; vampire pirates, huh?

8. There are diseases in the game; it's just not very easy to catch one...

9. There's a mod that does just this.

10. There are ladders in the game, moron.

11. Why? You have much better real weapons already. I'd rather use a Daedric Longsword over a stick, personally.

12. That would mean double the weapon meshes. Bethesda wouldn't do that.

13. Vampires don't have claws...

14. There are things like that, just not in Cyrodiil. Also, in TES, pharaohs don't exist!

15. That would be completely useless. Go dungeon delving if you want some cash. Also, that would be nigh impossible to do.

16. No comment.

17. That's up to Bethesda. I don't remember the reason they didn't put them in Oblivion, though...

18. There are different seasons, and Tamriel doesn't really have holidays. You can't just add in random crap that goes against the lore.

19. "M'aiq believes the children are our future. But he doesn't want them ruining all of our fun." ~ M'aiq

20. Stalkers? You really want to add NPCs who do nothing else than follow around people with bad intents? You are a sick, sick freak.

21. There are vampire slayers. In fact, there's a whole guild of them!

22. They tired multiple endings in Daggerfall...It was a train wreck.

23. Why would a well defended, unified Empire have it's cities attacked?

24. <See 23>

25. People do gossip about the player.

26. You could in Morrowind...

27. It's called Nord, moron.

28. Pointless.

29. "I do not wish to fight on horseback. It is a good way to ruin a perfectly good horse... which is, to say, a perfectly good dinner." ~ M'aiq

30. <See 29>

31. There is no such thing as king of the Imperial City.

32. ...How the hell is someone supposed to kill an immortal god-like creature to even become the ruler of Oblivion?

33. Oblivion has almost perfect lip sync, and you want more? It's can't get much better!

34. Dragons go against TES lore. There is only one dragon left alive, and he's in Akavir.

35. <See 34>

36. Why give up your successful career killing monsters to grow plants!?

37. <See 36 with a slight change of words>

38. <See 36 with a slight change of words>

39. Why? The only thing good about skooma is it's price, and even that isn't nearly as good as it was in Morrowind.

40. <See 39>

Nudity!

That would instantly give the game an M rating, and Bethesda doesn't want that. In fact, Oblivion was the first game to get an M rating, and Bethesda didn't even cause that on purpose.

I disagree with this:

11. It is realictic to be able to kill someone using the enviorment.

15. Why not? There are plenty of people out there that hate dungeon delving and I'm one of them!

22. I can't say about Daggerfall as I never played it, but the basic thing about roleplaying games should be FREEDOM OF CHOICE (something Oblivion fairly lacked). You choose on whoose side do you stand and the game ends accordingly. So DEFINETLY YES to multiple endings.

23.-24. Since when is the empire unified? The Dunmer would most likely proclaim independence, especially now that all the emperors are gone. Same thing with the Khajiit, hell, everyone except Redguards and maybe Bretons spits on the emperor and the Imperials. So where is this unified empire you're talking about? And why shouldn't barbarians eventually raid cities.

25. Do they? The people gossip about someone who stole the elder scrolls, or about someone that killed Adamus Phillida. For an example, when someone sees you kill somebody, or you go to jail, people gossip about it? I don't think so. They only gossip about quest-related stuff you did.

29.-30. One of the things that Oblivion lacks is horseback fighting, why should I not draw a sword at someone while on horseback.

36. Well, some of us perfer roleplaying as people in real life. And killing monsters is boring anyway. Same thing with owning towns and leading bandits- why not, it is more interesting then killing monsters.

39.-40. The stupid thing is that in Leyawiin, where the Renrijra Krin are most active, there is no skooma den where the dealer does not attempt to kill you.

I always believed this to be about the age rating, not the fact that there was no children present in the game
