Would it be possible to eventually add songs to Diamond City Radio?

Hello,

I am working on original songs that I would like to eventually make into a mod and have mixed in with the Diamond City Radio. Will this be possible, or will I need to create a whole new Radio station?

Thanks.

It is possible. You're going to need your songs in .wav format. Then you'll need to use Skyrim's XWM Converter to convert your .wav's into .xwm's. Then you'll need to recreate the correct folder structure in your Fallout4\Data folder, and finally rename your custom xwm's to those found in the Diamond City Radio and the Classical Radio sound folders (they are in sound\MUS not music folder). Don't forget to set the sound folder as readable inside the Fallout4.ini.

i'd love to see an extended diamond city radio as well, both fallout 3 and fallout new vegas had mods of these, i love the fallout music but it does get a little annoying hearing the same songs all the time, would be one of the first mods i would install, as well as prolly a alternate fast travel mod :D

Such a Mod would break any copyright, and thus the rules set up by the Nexus admins. You can't just take a song from any place, convert it to a readable format for FO4, and then release it as a Mod. However, what you do in your privacy is your thing.

It seems like what you are saying will replace the songs, not adding them into the mix, as it seems the OP is wanting. I woudln't know how to add them into the mix, though.

umm, then how is it that i used GNR more where that came from and Extended Radio new vegas? all i did was use the music from GNR for fallout 3 and add them with the extended radio new vegas, 100 songs, 10 at a time, both mods still exsist on nexus, not sure about the music but i still have it...

fallout 3

new vegas

both of these mods are fantastic and really expand on the music in both games, this is what i was referring to.
