nak1411
Obviously due to the post-apocalyptic nature of Fallout, ammo is pretty limited. But I thought it would be cool if you could reload. As in, have your own reloading bench with tools and a press. You would then be able to pick up spent casings of the various types of ammo. You would also have to find various types of powder that are required for each ammo type. I don't know how detailed it could get and what the limitations of the engine are, but measuring the correct amount of powder would be critical. The hard part would be finding bullets that aren't all torn up. Or maybe you could somehow craft them yourself and having an option of grain? This would clearly be a very immersive mod and would have to be balanced so that ammo isn't TOO easy to obtain and reload.
WoodElfMagefemale
Yup. I second this, everything that we had in FNV would be great. Clearly this mod is WAY down the road. We could also remove "armor piercing receivers" (If someone could try and use logical to explain how the receiver affects the bullet (head) as it penetrates the target I would love to hear it, lol)
c1g3
I thought it is about magic reloading after weapon swap :/It annoys me that my weapon reloads after weapon swap. Guns should have mags, ammo should have weight. Bethesda is lazy and love casual handicaps. Sad.
WoodElfMagefemale
^ people have tried to implement systems that also took account of rounds in the chamber when reloading. It can get pretty heavy in the scripts department.
solraven
yes, everything we had in new vegas and than some. while where at it why cant i disassemble a gun. it erks me that if i want a part from a gun i have to build a replacement piece out of valuable resources, switch the part, than i can scrap the gun and put the part in the other gun and... oh look, now i have a leftover part i never needed. scraping a gun should break it into its mods, or you should be able to remove parts all together, making it "broken xyz gun". P.S. why are thees guns held together with duct tape and super glue... that's just ridiculous. Edited November 16, 2015 by solraven
