Type 6 Body replacer texture bug

I asked this in New Vegas forum, but did not get an answer I understood or anything that helped me.

I'm trying to get the T6M Body and armor mod to work. And it don't want to work...

All I get is a screwed up texture of the body and most armors are screwed up, too.

This is a NV screen, but it looks exact the same in F3: http://puu.sh/kAHPd/03268481fe.jpg

I've installed everything correctly manually and with NMM; both methods didn't work. I have Archiveinvalidation Invalidated, it still doesn't work: http://puu.sh/ljows/650967ee1b.png

Some one here knows what to do to get it to work? I don't care if lingerie or nude version, I just want a non-muddy-thing and more "feminalized" armors.

Delete the ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! file you have in the game file. You don't need it and it is interfering with the Archive Invalidation file that is part of Nexus Mod Manager.

IF you had read the comments section of the T6M Equipment Replacer mod page, you would have already found the answer for which you seek.

Doing some research on your own is part of modding the game successfully. Reading ReadMes and mod description pages is a must.

Open NMM. Locate the "Tools" tab (crossed screwdriver and wrench). Left click on it. In the drop down menu, locate "Archive Invalidation". If there is a check mark to the left, left click the check mark.

Open NMM. Locate the "Tools" tab. Left click on it. In the drop down menu, locate "Archive Invalidation". Left click to the left to place a check mark there.

If when you first open "Tools" there is no check mark next to "Archive Invalidation", left click to the left to place a check mark there.

This is toggling "Archive Invalidation" and needs to be done everytime you make any changes to any textures in the game.

You must uninstall the standalone ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! or the one in NMM will not work. After adding the mod did you toggle archive invalidation?

If you did, the body replacer was not installed properly.

Open Fallout3/Data/Textures/Characters/female. There should be three files there: upperbodyfemale.dds, upperbodyfemale_n.dds and upperbodyfemale_sk.dds. These files should have the same dates as the ones you downloaded.

Now I understand. You did not read the mod page, did you. I think it would be better if you went back to the mod page and read the entire page.

Pay special attention to the part the says: ------------------- [Requirements] -----------------------

I'm sure you can figure out what is causing your problem.

I did it.

Let me explain, maybe you know what to do then:

I download this: http://puu.sh/ljzzW/f699f58c14.png

unzip the mesh/_male/"3 .nif files" to Fallout3/Data/meshes

Then it looks like the screenshot.

I download this: http://puu.sh/ljzGu/3b8cada482.png

But it doesn't change ANYTHING in my game. I still have the messed up textures.

I even tried this: http://puu.sh/ljzK4/837ad913c4.png

But the second I unpack them, (They all contain Data/meshes/_male folder btw, I get the default body again. No new meshes, no new textures.

Edit: TYPE3 V3dot5 and V2 textures only result in a messed up body, but the T6M armors are messy.

Edit:2: If I rename the meshes/_male to meshes/female, I get default body back.

First, you don't need to use the FNV Type 6 file for FO3, there is one for FO3 that will work with FOMM. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/17424/?

Type 3 Body is not needed if you are going to use the Type 6.

Type 3 Texture Pack requires a manual installation. The .z file needs to be extracted and the style of body needs to be chosen and manually installed in the texture files.

Edit 2: There is not path meshes/female. The path is Data/meshes/characters/_male. The file paths must be kept intact.

If you are going to use the Dimonized Type 3 textures, read the description page. Choose the installer you want and install the complete mod first.

Now you can install the Type 6 meshes, allowing for overwrite.

Toggle Archive Invalidation.

You can avoid some of this by using Beware of Girl Type 3 HiRez HiDetailed Replacer. Again, read the mod page.

You would have to install the Type 6 mod after you install the Type 3.

So I install the type 3 textures manually and AFTER THAT I install T6M meshes manually?

Edit: I used the F3 armor version. Just the acreenshot was from NV since it was easier to copy the link and didn't need to make a new screen in F3.

I will say it again:
