Have anyone experience with the mode "Fallout Character Overhaul" (www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54460/) to the New Vegas?

Installing via the "Nexus Mod Manager" (I also tried: FOMM, Mod Organizer) and I have fulfilled all the requirements in the instructions.

Yet after starting a new game right after the intro the game will crash.

Consult, as appropriate, an alternative to improve the faces in the game.

THANK YOU FOR ANY ADVICE!

what is your mod load order? also are you using either LOOT or BOSS?

I would first like to say that I am not experienced in installing mods for Fallout New Vegas, but I'm not stupid.

And sorry for my bad English (it's not my native language).

Originally, I acted exactly according to these instructions: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=475068117

To the point "Character Overhaul" game functioned without problems.

Now, to simplify finding the problem i proceed as follows.

01- Clean Installation Fallout New Vegas - Ultimate Edition (czech version)

02- (Without Nexus Mod Manager) latest version of "Vegas Script Extender" (stable version 5.0b2) to main game folder

03- (Without Nexus Mod Manager) aplicate 4GB Patch from this site: http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php to "nvse_loader.exe/FalloutNV.exe/FalloutNVLauncher.exe" (I tried before not applying but without effect to the problem mentioned above)

04- (Through Nexus Mod Manager) latest version of "New Vegas Stutter Remover" (version 4.1.36)

05- (Through Nexus Mod Manager) latest version of "User Interface Organizer" (version 1.31)

06- (Through Nexus Mod Manager) "Fallout Character Overhaul 3.0" (without any check in mod window during installation: no Addons, Teeth Textures, Options, Patches or NPC Addons)

07- (Through Nexus Mod Manager) patch "Fallout Character Overhaul 3.01" (I tried before not applying but without effect to the problem mentioned above) (with "No NPC Edits Bug Fix" same problem)

08- (Without Nexus Mod Manager) bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles 0 to 1 in Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini (in Documents\My Games\FalloutNV) and too in Fallout_default.ini (main game folder)

09- (Through Nexus Mod Manager) uncheck "FCO Russell" (game crashes at startup) (I also tried to physically delete the file "FCO - Russell.esp" but without effect to the problem mentioned above)

10- (Through Nexus Mod Manager) uncheck and check Archive Invalidation

11- (Through Nexus Mod Manager) launch game through "Lauch NSVE" button

The game is started normally but after starting New Game after the intro video, the game loads for a moment and then crash...

I use program "LOOT" and in it, in addition to the problem of "FCO Russell" who I am solved in point 09 does not show any problem.

I use "Windows 10 Pro 64-bit"

Again thank you so much for any advice.

i never said you were nor implied it so im not sure what you mean by this.

The second "3.01" (does not contain all the files - small file size) is only a PATCH for "3.0"

I also tried only 3.0 but without effect.

right forgot about.

have you tried uninstalling the stutter remover? also have you tried running FNVEdit?

Uninstalling the stutter remover have no effect :( FNVEdit is in the moment for me too complicated and would need time to understand it.

So i try install in NMM old version of Fallout Character Overhaul 2.3.1 and game works fine. It seems that I have to live with an older version, which is a shame, but better than nothing.

actually all you have to do is turn it on and have it load everything. it sometimes can point out issues.

you dont need it for FONV but to help use the tool here is a great easy tutorial for it: http://www.creationkit.com/TES5Edit_Mod_Cleaning_Tutorial
