nachtefuchs
I tend to stick to places I already know. The ones I usually raid are: Fort Strand - (Has a Warlord)Beletor's FollyDasek Moor - (Also has a Warlord) and Crumbling Mine - (Has a Ringleader) Where do you go for the best loot? Abramul
I've always found Fort Homestead to be convenient. And then there's Fort Nikel...Bandits AND marauders!
Rhydderch Hael
Nikel is always fun for pranks, but offers little in the way of loot. I don't prefer Bandit/Marauder dens, I go for vampire nests. One of Cassie's assigned tasks as Lieutenant of the Cheydinhal Guard is to secure the Blue Road by wiping out the inhabitants of Barren Cave at regular intervals. At least, that's the excuse I use to have her go into a den that contains two vampire bosses and their stash. Vamps offer a wider variety of gear than simple Bandit/Marauder bases, and the Vampire Dust is valuable for Virtuous Blood bounties or the manufacture of double-damage Silence poisons— a handy thing to use against mages. As to actual Bandit dens, the Cursed Mine near Skingrad is always a reliable source of fun.
Abramul
Ehh, I had a bit of fun in Crumbling Mine (near Chorrol) with 100% Chameleon, logs/rocks, Weak Fireballs, and bandits. If memory serves, the blow that killed the boss was a log, end on, to the head.
r6art
I raid Fort Nikel weekly - it's just too fun to sneak up behind the second Marauder, snipe her, and watch the Marauders and the Bandits kill each other ... bring popcorn! Fort Homestead is the place for loot - three levels, lots of enemies ... fun!
CoolCat6
Sercen and Vilverin are my favorites.
Rhydderch Hael
The denizens of Vilverin don't respawn. At least, the more interesting ones don't. It's good for the first run through, but returning to the place isn't quite as action-packed.
CoolCat6
If you're a stealth person with high acrobatics and marksman skill a fun thing to do in Sercen is jump up on to the ledges on the pillars and snipe down upon the helpless bandits who cant even get to you.
