Darnified UI, CTD, Oblivion permanently broken.

So I had just spent hours and hours doing this that and the other, and finally had Oblivion working, all mods everything. Wanted to be able to move the cursor, so someone said get Darnified UI.

 

I installed Darnified, and the only problem it had was that the in game settings were overlapped by the stats menu. I read something that said it might be Oblivion XP Leveling, so I uninstalled both of them (OMOD both), then reinstalled Oblivion XP, and then Darnified. Now, if I try to start a new game or a load a game, CTD. If I uninstall Darn, then the game CTDs as soon as I start it up.

 

Please help if you can.

Very long, but everything worked perfectly until I installed Darn, uninstalled it and Oblivion XP, and reinstalled both of them, so the problem has to be there.

It could be a conflict, it could be an improper install, it could be a lot of things. Can you post your load order, please?

So I did you the favor of making sure I was done screaming and punching things (which included my own nut sack) and then took a sprint around the house to get rid of the mad energy.

 

SO FUN STORY. I deactiveated their omods. Then I reactivated them.. darn first, then ObvXP......... and now my game is fine... I am literally crying tears at the moment due to the combination of frustration, joy, and realization of how freaking stupid I can be....

 

 

I'm going to attribute this being fixed to you... so thank you for your time. I'm going to go beat myself in the head with an encyclopedia.

Well, the newer XP did say to install after DarN :whistling:
