Username0815
For the first time in a Fallout game I tryd to make more extensive use of cooking, thanks to the ability to grow stuff, but met an unexpected problem: Lack of "Dirty Water". While you can produce an unlimited ammount of vegtables to cook, get free "purified water" from any built water resource over time?! (totally unrealistic) But when you finally want to start cooking all these delicious stuff you harvested you realise, purified water ain't for cooking you need dirty water, which is a pretty rare drop only item??? So,in short, is there something I have overseen, or is this like I think a severe logical error in the crafting recipes preventing from cooking anything but with the water you looted? Izuela
I have not found any reneweable dirty water. Perhaps that's something someone can make a mod for? Like let you stick a tin can into any lake or river to collect.
Vagrant0
Only sources of dirty water I've found are some merchants. I agree, it is a fairly large oversight that either these things shouldn't need purified water to begin with, or that dirty water doesn't appear in cases where a settlement only has water pumps. Seems odd that you'd have to trade purified water for dirty water, while also being at a loss of caps.
BeastofCaesar
Agreed with everyone this is a big oversight and balancing issue. That Aqua Cura vending ghoul from Broken Steel needs to come to the Commonwealth so I can start reliably manufacturing Fury and omelettes.
Username0815
Just wanted to mention that there are several mod solutions to this already, i. e. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3989/? cooking with purified water
Warmaker01
Who would have thought radiated water was rarer than purified water? http://i.imgur.com/WrKPhfd.gif
