Jomsvikingrr
Hi All, I was just browsing through the topics and comments in the Skyrim Mod Requests page and seen a comment on one post that I think would be very interesting. Lord Draconis posted the following in 'Challenge Ulfric for the throne' - Here's a arguably better idea for you. How about we as a gaming community get together and send Bethesda a petition requesting yet another DLC pack? I believe that the storyline begun with the Skyrim Civil War does not end properly and that Bethesda needs to finish it off with what actually SHOULD be the last DLC pack. Dragonborn should NOT be the last DLC in my opinion. I believe that yet another is needed to finish off the Civil War storyline....Whether Imperial or Stormcloak, I think we can all agree that the war is NOT over and that there is a good bit more to tell. Here is my two cents for what could be.....Stormcloak, the player is given a Jarlship by Ulfric after forcing the Empire to concede Skyrim's independence and finishes off the DLC by royally kicking the Thalmor's ass out of both Skyrim AND the Empire. If Imperial, The player is given The jarlship of Windhelm with Elisif becoming High Queen of Skyrim, plus marshalling all of Skyrim once again against the Thalmor, with assistance from a resurgent Blades who it turns out come out of the woodwork to give the elves the buttkicking they deserve. *Sorry for any elf lovers but I find the Thalmors attitude highly repulsive and to be BEGGING to have a Nord boot shoved up their ass* *and yes I am aware that as of April of last year bethesda said they're moving on..I believe we need to give them reason to revisit Skyrim..... I think this is a great idea. What do you guys think? Edited November 15, 2015 by Kais1980
heyiforgot
Add in spears and maybe even more weapon types and I'd buy it twice
Signette
Beth won't touch Skyrim again, they have FO4 and huge heap of issues with it. The DLC you describe is more like a mod job, search Nexus or Google, I'm sure there are already some mods featuring things you requested, if you want make it in-depth exactly as you see it than you can try to learn modding and create it yourself. There's no way we get another DLC or patch or anything at all from Bethesda.
TheSpaceShuttleChallenger
Yeah um Bethesda's not going to do that. They've moved on, they're working Fallout:4 now and they have their work cut out for them trying to get that game ironed out and expanded without going back in time to games they haven't touched in years just to expand the vanilla questline. People are always going to whine and gripe about how they want more of this and more of that, essentially just boiling down to the fact that the game doesn't go on infinitely in every direction. But the fact of the matter is, you got plenty of the civil war questline already. You pick a side, carry out all the major battles and establish an absolute winner of Skyrim's civil war. Defeating the Thalmor isn't part of the civil war--it's a completely separate conflict that spans most of Tamriel and would require far more than a DLC to adequately address. And honestly I don't see the point in adding Jarlship to the game. Being Jarl is a desk job and Skyrim is a game about exploring dungeons and slaying dragons.
