  3. Probably a bit late but I was searching for retextures and noticed your post, this mod has some of what you mention. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57755 also think that there's another one called armory or tamriel or something like that...
  4. I stick to deleting basically "inanimate" objects, rocks, trees, sometimes buildings. I also "disable" them first and wait a bit before i enter markfordelete just to see if anything strange might happen
  5. Not on Gunmar but I did something like that with the random vampire I was supposed to track down. I used to console to create an instace of the "travelling Pilgrim" vampire and killed it but it seems that it wasn't tied into the quest and so I had to just use the console to advance past it.
  6. Thanks. Yeah I read that solution too but he wasn't there, that's why I wondered if he got put in a different mod-added worldspace, I wound just up using the console

I do have the patch and that explains at least where Gunmar probably went. though when I couldn't find the vampire "traveling pilgrim" the journal said it was in riverwood but the marker was no place to be found. Perhaps it defaults to saying riverwood if the the target was spawned in some other land?
  8. Hi everyone, I've been getting some bugs with a new dawnguard playthrough I've been doing and i was wondering what might be happening. On quests such as "Hide and Seek" where you have to find and kill a random vampire or the one where you have to find Gunmar that involve random locations I can't seem to find them- their quest marker won't appear any where on the map. I read that if dragonborn is installed that they may show up in Solsthiem but could not find them or their markers anywhere there either. After running into this a second time(on the gunmar one i wound up just using the console to advance the quest) I've started to wonder- could they be showing up in other new land expansion mods such as Beyond Reach or BS- Bruma? Would the quest system recognize those locations and sometimes place the objective characters someplace in those other world spaces similar to how it does with Solsthiem? Thanks in advance for any advice everyone!

So hi everybody, couple questions, i've noticed that between my mods, bashed patch and skyproc patch, the legion and stormcloak troops seem to be armed with many weapons to each troop, often 3 or more melee weapons and two ranged plus ammo and stuff. I'd like to edit them to be armed more to my preference and to also them carrying so many weapons seems silly. I was wondering what the best way to go about this would be. Would it be best to make a new separate esp with the changes to load at the end of the load order? Or should I edit the sky proc patch itself and change the weapons in there? Also if i did edit them to have fewer weapons, is there any chance that would improve performance at all? Thanks in advance for any help!
  10. So the Volkihar Knight armor on hot-files got me thinking.... What I think would look cool is if the vampire cuirass could be re-textured to look like steel, similar to what was done to the scale armor in the first pic from this mod- http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26906/? Then it would look really heavy and bad-azz. I have tried similar things myself in GIMP but it never turns out right, any texture help or tips would be appreciated!
  11. I actually had something like that with no cape or pauldrons but it has a weird seam on the shoulders. I had mashed together the two vampire armors from dawnguard. the Volkihar knight armor on nexus makes something similar but it adds steel plate parts. Luckily those can be removed more or less cleanly in Nifskpoe. What I think would look cool is if the cuirass could be re-textured to look like steel, similar to what was done to the scale armor in the first pic from this mod- http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26906/?
