Deleted28198410User
with plans to have modding support for console platforms, do you think bethesda will release a proprietary modding API? or do you think we're just going to have to rely on the maverick hackers to figure out the game's internal systems before we can start making more advanced mods? MikBeTK
whew yikes! horribly misinformed post! 2 minutes of research led me to find GECK thats pretty embarassing You're not totally misinformed. G.E.C.K. doesn't currently support Fallout 4 so we do have to rely on maverick hackers and there is a LOT of misinformation and very little accurate information on creating working mods. Deleted2948850User
I'm pretty sure they'll implement console support to the new CK at one point or another. Not sure what the deal is with FO4,but the game files of previous games weren't all that different between consoles. In fact, it's been possible to mod FO3/FNV/TES5on consoles for a long time already, it's just that you can't legally sign the files necessary to play them on console and will be bannedfor the use of non-legit content. My guess, they'll probably implement a way of packing and signing game/mod files designated for consoles into the new CK.
