wootwoots
Hello. As the title say would be nice to have a weapon offset mode, because well.. even if sure we can set the "fov" via the console, the weapon position is clearly not natural :(So beeing able to have access to somes "offset X / Y / Z" would be just awesome :) A bit like here http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/59409/? jkruse05
For FOV try this. Editing both the 'World' and '1stPerson' FOV values may give better results than just the one value that the console changes. "First, find the Fallout4.ini file located by default in \Documents\My Games\Fallout4, open it, and paste the following under the ‘[Display]’ block:fDefaultWorldFOV= FOV Value fDefault1stPersonFOV= FOV ValueFOV Value should be replaced with whatever you see fit. Do the same for the Fallout4Prefs.ini located in the Documents\My Games\Fallout4 folder. Finally, head to your Steam install directory, likely ‘Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout4’, and paste the same information beneath the [Display] block. Save, and your FOV should now be changed. The default is 70, so change it in increments until you find a comfortable field. It’s inconvenient, for sure, but at least there’s a way." Other methods are not as simple as you may think. Apparently it requires altering the bone positions in first person animations, which can mess with other aspects of the weapons, and there are only so many people that are truly skilled with Fallout 4's animation system, or, the other option is to resize the weapons themselves, but that would be a ton of work to do for every weapon. Even that New Vegas mod requires a custom animation set. And I wouldn't be surprised if the way 1st person animations are implemented is more complicated in Fallout 4. However, there are a few options that can help.for the lasers and Institute lasers, the worst offenders IMO https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23102/ or https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3999for the 10mm pistol https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19446for recon scopes https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28402helps a tiny bit for the 'Assault Rifle' https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27147 Edited July 21, 2018 by jkruse05
