amorphos098
a futurism mod please. everything sleeker, flying cars, tanks vehicles etc. maybe use a player race as the vehicles so they work like the flying robots? I think the engine struggles with moving models inside a moving model or some reason why this and skyrim cant take vehicles?
JamesAfloat
As always I'm interested in more complex story mods with good storytelling. The Bethesda vanilla characters are often...well...vanilla. I'm leading a team who's going to be making a sizeable quest mod for either F4 or Skyrim in the next year. Maybe Railroad? Maybe a Tribe of synths who want to find a home? Maybe something in the Glowing Sea? Who knows. Whoooo knooooows
goblinshuffle
perfect mod would be more items in the build base portion of the game. Theres a lot of cool stuff we cant place hows about making [lucky number 13 /\]mod that can place more/additional items down at your crib/settlement. only two ive found so far is plant stands and some retexturing of the bar into a nuka cola bar. youd get a lot of folks downloading your mod if you made one like that. No, but seriously, let's just hope our mods don't cross over each other in the glowing sea. Luckily it's big! (ahem, assuming you do the mod for Fallout 4) But pretty much to lay down what I'm planning to do. I'm remaking what I've done with WDO (I was already like 30% done with the mod when F4 came out.) Renamed, redone, and with less bugs since I'll actually get to complete it before the next generation comes out. I'm diffidently liking some of these suggestions, and I'm taking them into consideration for when the Creation Kit gets released.
dskod1
@DegasaiThanks degasi, pretty much I always assume every major mod will need SKSE. IE any that change how gameplay works in any way. I just thought of another mod I would love to see but I doubt it will come out as it requires a lot of work. Dialogue Overhaul ModRemove ALL voice actingTurn the "wheel" into a list showing fully what you are saying (There is already a mod for this)Coomplete redo of all the dialogue choices, using more skill checks and making your choices more meaningfulAdding in new voice acting slowly, IE important main quests/characters firstBasically the mod would turn fallout 4's dialogue system into something more resembling fallout 1 and 2. They only had voice acting on important chararacters and the rest were read only. Though it would take ques from fallout new vegas in terms of using skill checks far more. amorphos098
I just hope someone turns jetpacks+power armour into flying vehicles/cars tanks. Preferably open top and rat-rod style, made from some of the existing car shells in game. Ps. If anyone wants to make them, I can help graphically. Cruor34
In a word, I'd like to see a Skyrim Requiem mod for Fallout 4. In order of priority for me: 1) #1 by a mile, harder combat: Better AI, increased damage from guns, better stealth detection from AI, if you fire a gun in a building all NPC's are alerted and wont rest until finding you, etc. 2) More weapons added with ammo type, hollow point, armor piercing, etc. I love realistic looking guns, I loved the weapon mods for NV. 3) Rebalance of enemies. For example, there should be no such thing as a level 1 raider, they kill for a living. I hate how some humans take 10 shots to kill others take 1... enemies should get more dangerous from better gear and tactics, not tiny or huge health pools. Turrets are pathetic and need a major buff, for the enemies and the player owned. 4) More realistic without being a total drag... I want to have to eat a drink sometimes and ammo should have some weight, but giving things like caps weight... while realistic goes into the realm of annoying. 5) A mod that makes SPECIAL matter more... people should not like you if you have 1 Cha. You shouldn't be able to equip a minigun with 1 Str. (on that point, PA should give str again because a minigun should require 11 STR+ but turn everything before it into a red paste.) After all thats done, we need a mod like "Better Cities In Skyrim" to fix a lot of the crap buildings in Boston/surrounding towns. Get rid of that horrible painted on window texture, make more buildings explorable, and improve the interior of some of the crappy ones. After all that, I'll worry about companions, graphics, and extra quests.
acelogan
The perfect mod is the one that introduces role-playing to FO4. That mod (much like perfection) does not exist because it cannot exist. I agree, they should have given more options for role-playing in the dialog and actions. And, contrary to what is being said, Bethesda could have easily done so; they made a conscious choice to cater to a specific narrative instead. I think this hinders the game to a degree that Fallout fans are not accustomed to. Perhaps we could write to Bethesda - maybe not a petition, exactly, but a community supported plea - to use some of the profits that would go towards developing DLC that brings in more variety (read 'EVIL') in the dialog and actions; they could bring back the main voice actors, including those that do major supporting character voices, and record the new lines for the DLC or Expansion Pack. From my point of view, it's a win/win. If they can't, I'm sure the Modding community will invariably, and undoubtedly, step up to the plate. DimosZargarda
Fallout 3 was my favorite game ever, so you can imagine how much I was excited to get Fallout 4, however, I still didnt get it :P reason is that I am waiting for a cool armor mod to come out, as the in game ones I looked up dont look interesting to me. So for me, the best mod that could happen right now would be to add the Combat Ranger Armor from Fallout New Vegas.
DopeChuck
I just hope someone turns jetpacks+power armour into flying vehicles/cars tanks. Preferably open top and rat-rod style, made from some of the existing car shells in game. Ps. If anyone wants to make them, I can help graphically. Not all that bad of an idea. Now I can script and write stories and do tricky stuff in the GECK/CK but one thing I'm not that good at is graphical things. I suck at making models, I've tried with Blender. Best I got was a cube and cylinder that only slightly resembled a very rudimentary gun if it was hit with a super size ray and had no textures and corners that are nearly infinitely sharp (seriously, you could impale a guy on those corners) The more I play Fallout 4 the more I realized how narrow the plot is. There just isn't the freedom we got in Fallout 3 and NV. Now don't get me wrong, I love Fallout 4. I just wished it kept the more RP elements and gave us more freedom to be evil rather than a concerned parent looking for their kid the worst we can get is mad about the stuff that happened. In my opinion I think Fallout 4 needs immersion mods. I'm not just talking about survival difficulty, I'm talking about actions that have consequences. If I kill everyone in Diamond City because Takahashi gave me a bowl of cold noodles, I WANT PEOPLE TO HATE ME FOR IT.
