About Orcs and goblins

@Goblins - it will need to edit almost all armor and clothes, not to mention you couldn't wear any modded ones, i doubt someone will spend their time on this, sorry ;/

OR, you could just make all non goblin armour and clothes unplayable and just have the default goblin armour level up with you. That way you don't have to worry about editing all the armour and clothes. It would also be a little more lore accurate. You may have a goblin saving all of Tamriel, but at least he isn't wearing a red velvet blouse :D

From what I know of how humanoid races are set up, it would be very difficult, possibly even impossible, to get a playable goblin with the same body shape and posture as the ones already in-game.

As for small Orsimer, that's easy enough that you should be able to do it yourself, which would allow you to get exactly the height you want. In the Race window (under Character), there are Height and Weight boxes for males and females of a race. I think, but I'm not certain, that Weight simply affects scale on the X and Y plane.

You are corrent. It should however be noted that extreme changes to height/weight (less than .8 or more than 1.2) can cause abnormalities such as arms inside torso. As all races use the same body, legs, hands, feet mesh, you wouldn't be able to get anything close without distorting everyone else. While you can kinda get around it by using some sort of goblin suit, it would only be practical to do so with an NPC. You would still have posturing and movement issues though.

Isn't there a skeleton race mod? and if you could do a skeleton then shouldn't you be able to do a goblin race mod?

Let's see, skeletons have about the same shape of humans, same proportions, just different animations... While goblins have a huntched over, limbering posture, and different distances between joints... In short, not close enough. People have tried it when attempting to have conversable creatures, I don't think they managed to get anything that looked very good.
