Preston forcing quests on the player

I find that having an assload of defense and chokepoints helps. After all, raiders can't f*#@ up your s#*! if the only way into your settlement is the front gate, and it has a dozen rocket turrets and two-dozen machine gun turrets pointed at it.

Sadly they still give you missions for those settlements, no matter how fortified. I have 400 defense in one place and they still give me quests asking for raider help as if my wall of turrets wasn't enough to dissuade anyone from approaching.

All settlements will also have a chance to trigger "attack alerts" no matter how much defense is present, Unfortunately, you still have to show up or else somehow your defenses magically get damaged and people magically get killed. So even if your turrets grind any enemies into paste the moment you arrive, you still need to actually show up.

Raiders cant f*#@ up your s#*! huh.. like the ones that somehow waltzed right past 30 or so turrets and destroyed half the crops before the turrets shot them and I could almost throw a grenade and hit them. Yeah Bethesda decided players are going to participate if they like having a settlement. Or the settlement with the greenhouse, completely wiped out with 400 defense. They left one carrot and a water pump.

DJ, Bidi will be getting a rocket launcher and a mni nuke from me then. Just no ammo lol.
