WestonG
How do mod authors compress their images? I want to upload a visual mod but my PNG before and after screenshots are like 4-8MB. After compression via the slowest and best method the images are still around 2-4MB... I feel for anyone with a 4k display I only have a 2560x1080 21:9. ZeroKing
Use IrfanView. It has compression/resize/resample and quality adjustments for saving images in different formats.
JimboUK
For very large images it's probably best to embed them on a host that accepts larger files, compressing 4K images down to 2MB is never going to look good, I'm struggling with some detailed 1080p ones. Flickr accepts files up to 200MB in size, has no bandwidth limits and allows embedding.
