Crippled Limb Healing - not the issue I expected

Hey hey There's no need to be rude.

We all have different opinions,And you know what??

I'm suddenly realising we have a bunch of casualized Fps gamers entering this franchise.

I think Pthalo was referring to himself as well. No casual FPS gamer would be hailing an obscure mod maker, calling him a hero.

If i misunderstood something i'll apologise.

Im not looking for a bitching contest between us greybeards vs the young generation

I think fallout 4 is an Ok game and i would have loved if they had improved on some of the existing game mechanics from F3 and Nv.

Im not saying they should implement the exact same fetures as in their previous games,But i really liked how they added to the challenge,Instead of limiting them or removing them they could have improved upon them.

What i think they've improved.

1.Combat/Shooting is way better and not so stale as it used to be.

2.The perk system is vastly expanded and improved

3.The crafting system. So much can be crafted.

I think it's important to maintain that Rpg/Fps balance, cause it makes the game unique

Yeah, my wording made that sound like an insult - not my intent! Sorry about that. Shouting contests are lamesauce, I feel ya there. For what it is worth, my comment was self-directed as well.

I just meant that after playing through a game series where half the plot involves a vault underground and needing a GECK, I found the parallels to my (and probably others') life/lives uncanny. I am literally sitting in my basement waiting for a modding kit by the same name to be delivered to our unique gaming community. It feels a little meta.

All these more casual newcomers have to start somewhere! If they're playing on pc then the option of trying new challenges will be right at their fingertips. The more the merrier.

I am likewise very pleased with FO4's combat so far! Not as content with how they rely a lot on buffing enemy damage while softening mine at higher difficulties, it feels very bullet-spongy. (I'm used to D&D where enemies are human-controlled though, so this is entirely user bias.) BUT! I love how survival makes stimpaks/food heal so slowly. That's a mechanic I'd usually have to mod in. It's a good bit of realism that encourages the player to think before getting into another firefight. It's entirely optional too, which is perfect.

Perks, cool. Considering hacking/lockpicking always had four thresholds of difficulty, having a smooth 1-100 scale for the skill was largely unnecessary. The perks sheet is a bit big to take in and scroll around at first, but it streamlines what was originally two different systems that more often than not just butted heads while trying to accomplish the same thing.

Crafting: has finally addressed all the world clutter issue by making it worth interacting with, I no longer have to mod that in. THANK GOODNESS.

Not related to the original topic but I am curious: what constitutes a graybeard in gaming? Heheh. I know there's no hard lines and this is a silly question, but it feels like all the folks accused of being casuals were born in the late 90's-early 2000s, and all the hardcore gamers remember a time before Quake. Where's a kid from '88 fit in? tl;dr what am I anyway?

I've encountered the same issue here and found a resolution for this by using 2 commands using recycleactor or unequipall

1. set your player view become 3rd person

2. open game console command by press "`" symbol (without quotes)

3. click on your character until it shows player ID

4. type 1 of the command you desire to use (recycleactor or unequipall) and voilaaa my character's broken body and limb now is fully recovered 🥳

5. Good Luck
