cdo947214
Without giving me too many spoilers, if I complete act 2 (institutionalized) before doing the faction quests, will I lose the opportunity to do certain faction quests. With the minutemen, I did through "Old Guns" and have most (if not all) of the settlements. With the Brotherhood, I did "Call To Arms", "Fire Support", "The lost Patrol". and a bunch of the repeating quests for Rhys and Haylen. With the Railroad, I am on "Boston After Dark" about to make the delivery to Doctor Carrington. I want to do all possible quests for The Minutemen, Brotherhood, and Railroad before finally siding with the Minutemen and not betraying the Brotherhood. What faction quests should I complete before going to the Glowing Sea and completing the rest of act 2? Will the game tell me when it's time to pick a side? Lessabos
I think going to Glowing sea will not lock out any quests, you still got a long road ahead of you

Lessabos
Yes you can, other factions will be hostile if you continue in institue quest, railroad will turn hostile when you recapture escaped synts and BoS when you try to get nuclear fuel for the reactor
