DarthCruciare
Mazel tov. A story worthy of a Hollywood movie, no, I'm serious, it has all the makings. Competing with a big company, struggling to stay alive during a depressed labour market, lots of sleepless nights. To hell with yet another movie about Steve Jobs (**** that guy, that talentless hack who made money taking credit for other people's ideas), I want to here about Dark0ne. In fact, that's a great name for the movie. Just call it exactly that: " Dark0ne ". The lack of a space between the words make it look edgy, and grabs your attention, and makes you say "Wow, what's that all about?" Well, it's about the best goddamn mod site on this planet with a genius business plan: make ad revenue by hosting mods for free, to fix the most broken games ever made, Bethesda games (and others, but they don't have nearly as many mods because they aren't as broken). Here's to another ten million, and may Bethesda games continue to be as broken as Fallout 4 on release to keep you in business. P.S. To those of you who may think I'm being too harsh by calling F4 broken, watch Angry Joe's review, then tell me it's not broken. NMM constantly freezing, even crashing because of connection issues with the Nexus site. Downloads were failing, and if they managed to download, they came bare, no descriptions, it couldn't retrieve data for them and some even just broke outright. The site itself was barely usable, always failing to load pages, tabs.. it was an absolute nightmare.Go back and read through the older posts they've made about it.They said they finally fixed it all after all these years, but it was clear that wasn't the case as the release of FO4 support for NMM caused the same issues it did back then, albeit not as crippling. Only the NMM was mostly unusable (freezing for long periods of time, downloads failing to start, data failing to be retrieved), with the site only delaying/hanging for periods of time.My simple comment was made because I posted on the article about FO4 support for NMM. Maybe I should've copied it here instead of left it with one that apparently attracted much ire for what appears to be fanboy attitude people. pksky
I just read this whole article and had to send out a great big THANK YOU to yourself, the staff, moderators and hosts who have made the site what it is today. I only discovered it earlier this year and it's brought me lots of enjoyment, knowledge and enthusiasm for gaming! THANK YOU! And of course I can't forget the wonderful modders who are the lifeblood of this site! If you've ever taken the time to spend countless hours creating a mod, helped out in the forums and supported the users here, I want to extend a great big THANK YOU to you as well! FinalFrog
Buying a life-time membership for the site back in 2009 was the greatest investment I've ever made. I've gotten more value for my money using this site than anything else digital or physical I've purchased. Thanks again Robin. =) Edited November 25, 2015 by FinalFrog
