Curie Mods

Hi, can anyone make these mods?

1.) Hairstyle without altering her face. From "No Nonsense" to "Sophisticated"

2.) Power Armor Paint - "Curie" white/pearl white. New paint for power-armors to don Curie's Miss-Nanny body color scheme, with Titanium Armor-Health bonus.

Changing her hair and.. whatever else is easy actually, make sure you have her in her *non spoiler* form after the quest for her, have her just chill a second, and look up "help curie 4" in console, choose.. I believe the very top version of her, if I remember correctly, and do "player.placeatme (the ID) 1),

Then once the newly spawned in one is in front of you, click on her to get her NEW reference ID, make sure to click on the one that you spawned in, not the actual one, once the spawned in one is clicked, do "slm (the ID)".. it should look something like "slm 000057869" or something.. or just "slm 57869" - the 0's don't matter in this case.

Keep in mind these numbers are just made up as an example, her reference ID will be different for you, so you have to click on her to get it.

Once you have typed in the slm command, you should be able to change her looks.

Once you are done, save it and while she is still selected in console (clicked on), type "disable", if you mess it up and disabled something else by accident like behind her or something, just type "enable" to bring it back and try to click on her again and disable her.

THEN, almost done, go to the actual Curie, the one you helped do the "thing" for with the nice doctor, click on her to get her reference ID and do "slm (her ID)" to bring up the same menu as before, THIS TIME all you needa do is go to her hair as if you were gonna edit it.. for example, doesn't have to be her hair, and load a different hairdo as a preview, it should load the Curie that you made earlier.

For a technical reason why it must be done this way is due to the fact that the game has 2 different ID's for most stuff. The "Reference ID" is just a reference to the actual thing, which is the "Object ID", similar to when you make a shortcut for a program on your computer. When you edit the reference, it still loads the data from the actual object, so JUST changing Curie's normal model won't do s#*!, you need to actually edit her original object version, from there, when the reference model is updated in some way (her hair having a preview for example), she will load the data from the original.. that you have now edited, thing is with her object model... Bethesda didn't make her an AI for whatever reason, so you NEED her version from in the actual game.

Sorry for the complications, but till the GECK is released we gotta struggle with what we got :l

You're gonna have to wait for the GECK then, currently, altering an NPC with ShowLooksMenu resets some character settings.

That would be because the actual companion NPC of Curie is a synth. I'm not 100% sure of the inner workings, but you can't alter synths directly with SLM, they have a human race NPC in a hidden cell.
