Question

1 what does the mod OOO do? i hear about it all the time

2 what is the custom race fix mod?

3 what is project serpent?

Custom race fix allows custom modded races to be played. Its basically a patch that works for all custom races so individuall modders don't need to do it themselves. You only need the mod if you plan on USING a custom race.

You could also use a custom race somebody else made.

 

OOO is a huge mod which primarily fixes the awful leveling system of vanilla OB for enemies and loot (ie no more daedric wearing marauders with lvl 20), but it also adds tons of new content and quests.

And for your last question, Project Serpent is a Total Conversion (working from scratch with none of the Oblivion world except a few basic objects and such) for Oblivion that hopes to bring the world of the Hexen/Heretic games to the Oblivion engine. It promises more depth and storyline than the original game. It's one of the few TCs for Oblivion that's actually going somewhere. Read more here. *Plug plug* ;)

and the heretic games, i think i've played one of them, Heretic 3, Is that the world your talking about?

I'm pretty sure it only goes up to Heretic 2? I could be wrong there.

You start in the town of Winnowing Hall, but there arent any green people there I'm afraid, although we have included that same race in the game.

 

We are currently making a teaser for it, so you'll be able to see for yourself when it's done.
