iFooledMe
I am trying to install the Full Dialogue Interface (NewDialog English translation)-1235-Beta5 mod. I now have the full text displayed, but it is still presented in the diamond shape, not the list as it should. I am using the main file from Nexus. And I have added this line to the fallout4.ini; "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\", and SetiPresentInterval to 1. What am I missing? How do I get the interface to work properly?
Deleted2948850User
Those ini lines look spot on. Did you also load the mod properly and do you have file selection enabled? Check your C:\Users\[yourname]\Documents\my games\Fallout4\Fallout4Prefs.ini, find 'bEnableFileSelection=1'(should be near the bottom under [Launcher]). If the line isn't there, add it and if it's set to 0, set it to 1. After you'vedone that, start the launcher, click on (or just under) the left eye of the power helmet to open the file selection menuand see if the .esp is checked. This is the manual way of installing mods however, not sure how the NMM does it. Also, if you're running the FO4 beta you'll have to set your .ini files to 'Read-only', otherwise the game resets themback to default everytime you launch the game.
