Falloutdude11
So, I don't know if this is the beta update's doing, or a recent update to Nexus Mod Manager, but now when I start up Fallout 4 through NMM, ALL the mods instantly deactivate when I actually go to launch the game. I've checked Fallout4prefs.ini, it's fine. I've checked plugins.ini. It only has the main Fallout 4 in it. If I manually add the plugins, it quickly removes them again when I launch. I've tried doing manual launches with plugins.ini set to read-only, this also does nothing. What am I supposed to do now?

Rabbit1251
The Steam beta update is in beta as the name implies. As a beta it is meant to be tested without mods active so the update disables mod use. You will have to revert back to an earlier version of the game or do without mods until the update becomes ready for general use. Rabbit

jet4571
Set your plugins.txt to read only if you are using a beta update. The game is setting it to default settings.
