If you really want to make it balanced make it so is has no enchantment value, that way people can't just use it enchanted with good stats.

it's completely unenchanted at the moment, but I see what you mean :)

I had intended to have the current scripted effect as an enchantment, but the script I created wasn't listed when I tried to make a new enchantment in the constructor  I probably missed something obvious!

as it stands though, whilst wearing the whole set, it's a 2 piece, so the player can only have 2 enchantments (plus rings + necklace), with no armour*, as opposed to 5 enchantments (plus rings + necklace) on a whole set of armour. that's why I used the DB robe, as it includes the hands and feet slots.

*unless they use some shield enchants of course.

At a guess, you neglected to set it as a Magic Effect script. There's a pulldown in the top right of the script editing window. You could, of course, simply give it a dummy enchantment.

there's a pulldown menu on the top right of the scripting window?

you'd be right on your assumption there then, I didnt even know it existed. :D

yeah, a dummy enchantment might be good, will look into it at a later date, gots me lotsa coursework to do before I get to play with it again. boo.

Eh, may not be top right, depending on how wide the window is. But it's to the right of the ''Load, 'Save', and 'Red Disc of Doom' buttons.

never mind it's exact location, I didnt see it wherever it was!

yeah I noticed the red disk of doom, much to my peril :(

That explains alot. When are you going to do version 1.1?

hmm I really aught to leave it until june, I've got lots of work to do :(

however, given that it wont take much to fiddle adding an enchant it may well happen before then
