westride
I've noticed that many GOOD mods require OBSE and I have it. But whenever I try to use obseloader it says make sure file is in correct oblivion.exe or someting like that. I'm probably going to feel really n00bish once I get the answer but I'm willing to take that risk. I basically need help on extracting those files to oblivion.exe though I can't find that data directory, so anyone who knows how to solve this please tell me how. Thanks. P.S. Just in case it's important, the version is v0009 and yes I have OBMM and it works.
Abramul
What version is oblivion.exe? Has it been modified at all? Is it a D2D version?
westride
I have no idea. I found the Oblivion.exe folder but it's empty and the properties tab doesn't tell me anything about it. Edit: I just now extracted OBSE to that file and did the same thing.

Povuholo
(This should've been in modifications)Are you using the 1.2 official patch? If you are, make sure you are using v0009b or higher. Also, the OBSE website says: If you want to use Shivering Isles with OBSE you need to install the 1.2 patch before installing Shivering Isles. The SI beta patches (1.2.0.410/416) are unsupported. My oblivion doesn't allow me to uninstall its weird. That's thread hijacking but I think you have to use the setup on the CD.
westride
Okay, got Oblivion working again but OBSE still isn't working. Question: Everytime I see 1.2 patch SI is always mentioned. Does that mean it's made for SI only or can I use it on Oblivion?

Does that mean it's made for SI only or can I use it on Oblivion? You can use the Oblivion 1.2 patch without SI. It's just that Shivering Isles installs with 1.2, so if you have SI you don't need it. Just make sure you don't download the Beta patch v1.2.0416, which is for SI only. Of course it says that in the title: 'SHIVERING ISLES BETA PATCH v1.2.0416' Did you install OBSE in the correct folder? I believe it should be in the oblivion folder itself, and not Oblivion/data.
