Error

Hi everybody,

since some days Morrowind gives me a strange error, when I try to load certain save-games. At the beginning of "initializing data", it displays me two windows. The first says "Unable to find script '˜©t' on object 'cliff racer_diseased'.

The second, instead: "Unable to find sound gen creature '|zt' on object 'cliff racer_diseased'."

Even if I continue running the executable, the program crashes.

The plugins I'm using are Blood and gore (latest version), Beast of burden: packguar, cliff racer remover (that does not work  ), Creatures of Morrowind, Giants: dragons, All houses, gladiator. And, of course, Tribunal and Bloodmoon.

Anyone has an idea how to solve this problem? Please!!!

Thanks in advance

Hmm... try loading your game without any of the plugins. If it's then bug free, save, then load each of the plugins one by one, until you get the fault again. That should route out the culprit.

As for another plugin, there must be, because a friend of mine uses it and claims it works, yet I've got the one from here at Morrowind Source and it doesn't do a ruddy thing.

No, I did not try yet, but the strange thing is that this problems occurs sometimes, not always. Neither the game crashes just as it occurs, it goes on for a while, instead, and then the error displays when reloading.... I suppose I should try and reinstall, hoping the save game file is corrupt.

Knowing the danger, I made three distinct saves, but this time the problem regards each of them... the only hope I have is the autosave, but it is much behind...

Well, you could try backing up your Data Files and Saves folder, then reinstall. Put Data Files back in and overwrite the one already there. As for the saves, go in game and start a new character. Get past the Census and Excise office, then save. The game will then create the folder... then just paste your saves into it and voila! Hopefully it'll work.
