Odd error Message, Game Crash

I just made a little house mod on the tip of Sheogorad. I just modified it, and saved, and it popped up a message saying, "¥IGÁ=Hqö—CócGI=H¯›CªHGî=H+m—C¸bGÆ=HÃbœCªHGî=H+m—CøbGv=HË%›CjHG==H"ª˜CócGI=H¯›CjHG==H"ª˜C¸bGÆ=HÃbœC¥IGÁ=Hqö—CŠG^ÿ<H¹b£CócGI=H¯›CŠ‹G0 cannot be found." I launched Morrowind, and, in the Mod descripton, it said the same thing. I tried playing Morrowind, and it pops up two error messages saying some of the same random bits of code. I say yes to the first one, and it pops up a second. I say yes to that one, and Morrowind crashes back to desktop. I tried running Morrowind without the mod, and it worked fine. What can I do? I spent days on this mod, and I really like it, and don't want to lose it. Help!

 That's WIERD!! I had a similar problem with a house mod I did. Totally screwed up the game for no apparent reason... seems to be some sort of instability in the engine :( I'm not sure if there's anything you can do... maybe run it through TESAME and get rid of any suspicious looking entries.

Ok. I downloaded the TESAME, but I'm not quite sure how to use it. I opened up the file (mod) I wanted to edit. and all that happened was a bunch of things popped up in the section below. Is there something I'm supposed to be doing that I'm not?

Argh you haven't used it before... curses... well basically, just load it up (it's best to have your area open in the CS as well for reference) and delete anything that isn't there. You can delete by clicking on the desired object in TESAME, then press space, then hit the Delete key.

Like, for instance, it lists the ID of a redware vase, but there's no redware vase in the mod, then delete it. Same goes for cells it lists and all, if the mod isn't meant to affect them, delete.

Don't worry, it's saved under a different filename unless you specify it to overwrite your original mod, that way you can edit it if you accidentally take out too much.

Once you've done all that, your mod is officially "clean" and perhaps it will run... if not, then so long house mod. :bye:
