Biohazard186 Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Found a frame when I was out wandering with Deacon. Since I was currently in one I couldn't retrieve it so I had him hop in. Now I can't get him out. Every time I go to talk to him he only wants to talk about his damn code and then exits the conversation. Any idea how to get him out?
Biohazard186 Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 There actually isn't one in the suit. It's in his inventory but I gave it to him after telling him to get in so it's not plugged in. That and my chances to pickpocket it are 8%.
GamerChas Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) I can't help but this seems to be a bug with companions. The conversation choices are stuck to only the current mission. I had the same problem with Preston when he starts the reclaiming mission. That is the only conversation available: are you ready to go yet? And I could not get him out of the power armor that I wanted to use for that mission. GRRRRRRR!! Edited December 9, 2015 by GamerChas

This 'code' is juste a trap he sets up for you to teach you a lesson : don't trust anybody. While you stay at this stage of the conversation, you won't be able to get him out of the power armor frame. Furthermore, if I remember well, you won't be able to advance in his relationship until you fifnish the conversation.

Didn't see your post until now, which was probably a good thing cuz I'm curious and that spoiler tag woulda gotten to me. :P
