I have been looking into some mods that from what I understand makes you see more detail in the distant landscape(?)

Can someone explain the differance of these two mods and what these mods do in general?

RAEVWD

Really AEVWD

http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/20053/?

Or is there some other/better alternatives? Or are these two "compitable" and can be used at the same time?

Is there some more installation requirements then normal mods? I use TES mod manager.

I know it can be performance heavy, but I would like to try (my computer is GTX 980ti, i75930-K processor, 16gb ram)

The first one is an OMOD install script used to install the second one using Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM). The second one is the original, which is set up to be installed either manually or preferably with Wrye Bash's BAIN installer.

Read the mod description and install instructions for the first one for details.

I use TES mod manager. Could I use it also and follow the install instructions?

Is this also a variant of a mod like this or is this something completely different?

TES4LODGen is a separate utility (not a mod) that is required for RAEVWD (read the RAEVWD install instructions). I have no experience with TesModManager so I can't say whether it understands BAIN or OMOD install structures.
