danzyTHEassassin
I know there is a forum similar to this for the Adoring Fan, but I'm interested, what all kind of evilness have all of you DB Listeners out there given to the Dark Brotherhood Murderer? My personal favorite would be to take him in the market district of the imperial city randomly punch a NPC, and LO AND BEHOLD your DB Murderer comes to your rescue oh listener which then usually sparks a riot in the Imperial City causing guards and other NPCs and all kinds of chaos and the end result is usually about 4 NPCs jacking up your DB Murderer at the same time its classic because the poor kid cant even talk hes so nervous about going into battle! :D Just wanted to hear some other stories of what they have done to this poor archer sap! ninja_lord666
I don't hire the murderers for just that reason: they are weaklings. They always die, and I'm the one who gets blamed...
Rhydderch Hael
I never really sink my teeth into the Dark Brotherhood storyline until my character is in their 30's (quest reward levels for every DB bonus tops out at Level 30, not 25 as with the usual). As a result, the character doesn't reach Listener rank until 35+. None of the lackeys the Listener gets survives the field of battle presented to us at 35+. My experiences with them? Let's explore that, shall we? Imperial bowman: pwned by Mino Lord on the Blue Road. Less than a half-day's life expectancy.Breton spellcaster: 2-hit killed by a brown bear near the Akatosh wayshrine at Cheydinhal's south wall. Get it? She never left the shadow of the town walls before ending up as Smokey's next meal!Khajiit swordsman: survived to see the Battle of Bruma, but didn't last past Round One. After that, I simply chalked them up as interactive room decoration for the Sanctuary and never bothered bringing another one of them out into the light of day. Haha, my experiance with them is similar to yours, i did go into the CS and moded them out little bit so they are not using steel weapons when i am runing around in deadric and gave them dryads heal spell :P , but they have nothing on some of the realy good companion mods out there, so i just let them guard my stronghold front door after giving them torches in the inventory. Instant maniquens/doorman "good to see you ohh great listener" lol :P I am a fan boy of Paul 'Simyaz' Thomson companion mods :D
