abdia
Hmm... I've been getting the same problem for ages... I managed to fix it temporarily by disabling 1 or 2 mods that were conflicting (Weapon Racks and Settlement Supplies Expanded), but, after adding a new mod, it began again, I tried disabling it, but didn't help. Looking for a solution that does NOT involve removing all your mods, and/or looking through each one mesh's folder. If you ask me, it was a bad idea to start modding before the CK comes out. But I'm too reliant on my mods to turn back now  **EDIT**I did some research, it turns out Homemaker and simple insertion, or whatever the name was, don't work with each other very well.. I suggest, instead, getting a mod called 'Place Everywhere'. Fun fact: It dosen't use cheat engine! Yaaaay, now you won't get 64,000 viruses on your computer. Sandcrab2000
CTDs in the workshop are caused by missing file(s). Either a file has been removed by a disabled or deleted mod, a corrupted version of the file has been loaded, or the author of the mod made an error when pointing to a specific file used by his mod. Two solutions (if you're not the mod author);1) Disable all your mods and reenable them one at a time to find the specific mod causing the problem. Once identified, uninstall and reinstall following the mod author's directions.2) Delete all your mods, clean out your /DATA/ directory and reinstall the mods one at a time. I know it sucks, but this is a hugely common problem with mods, Mod Managers, and mod authors. Here are some additional troubleshooting tips:http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3891290-ctds-since-14-update/?p=35480305 Sandcrab
lukehigdon
Lesson for the future - don't get attached to your saves, and do not add A LOT OF MODS. F4 is still in patching and correcting process.Good thing I only have over 300 of them. Talk about a needle in a needle stack lol
Greenspore
For anyone needing to troubleshoot settlement issues, please refer to this thread. For me, uninstalling workshop planters and Snap'n Build left ghost esps in my files post update 1.4. Please manually verify your un-installations. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3767665-ten-rules-to-get-a-mod-setup-with-a-lot-of-workshop-crafting-mods-to-work/
Deleted1016523User
Got this game fragger too. This occurs even on modless saves - I got two chars, 1 male, 1 female, male is modless save, female is clogged with mods, mostly game improvements though. I still get the same random crashes across teh game, be it graphic card/drivers being unacceptable to the game's opinion - yes, OPINION, not requirements, I meed all requirements at least TWICE over. But as for workshop crash, yeah, its entirely random or INSTANT either when I am USING it, or opening it. Sometimes it crashes when I just close the workshop too. It just says either FO4 crashed or no error at all. The game is either 100 and 1% unplayable beyond measurement, OR, it plays fine for hours or even days. For me, mods have little to no effect when it comes to the crashes, it just wants to crash. So yeah, pretty much instability in the game until its properly patched up. Other than these issues, the game is epic!
