nightspore
3: how can i fix the problem of corners and sides of rooms not lining up corretly (i know about angle snap and grid snap). When using snap to grid/angle make sure that your location vertices fall on a whole number (e.g. 143040.000). That makes it much easier to line everything up correctly.
desboy113
Another question.... gosh there should be a constuction set forum or something! 1: how do i get npc's to be able to barter or train or something? 2. How do I make an npc allow you to join a faction? 3: and how do i get them to stand still and not wander?
Peregrine
Ugh, this is why moderators should not mod after more hours of exams than sleep in the past two days.... Sorry, I just edited your post instead of adding my reply! I think I fixed it.... My real post:gosh there should be a constuction set forum or something! Please tell me you're joking.... Which reminds me, this should be in that forum anyway! 1: how do i get npc's to be able to barter or train or something?Under AI/services tab, choose which items you want the npc to trade, enable/disable training. Then give them an inventory to trade with. 3: and how do i get them to stand still and not wander?Under AI/packages, choose "wanderer" from the menu and set distance to zero. MDRud216
You need a door set to exit into that cell first. Then the door marker will appear in the cell, and you move it to the correct position. You need a door set to exit into that cell first. Then the door marker will appear in the cell, and you move it to the correct position. OHHHHHHHHH! I am trying to make a mod near seyda neen and when I say select marker on the door of the interior cell it selects a marker on the chargen boat, I always assumed that that marker was a preplaced one that went from the interior of the boat, but it is actually a new one right? and the interior of the chargen boat has a different marker, right, I will look into it myself but please answer here, thanks! Don88
1 :To set what services your npc can provide, double click on him/her. Select AI then services. if you can't click any of these, make sure that the 'auto-calculate stats' box is unchecked. For bartering make sure the objects that u want an npc to sell are owned by him. i.e. In the extra data tab in tescs when double clicked on an object, set the ownership to your npc. i don't know much about training but i'm sure they train their top 3 skills. if you set them to sell spells then any spells they have, they can sell. 2 :You need to know how to use dialogue, well. And I don't so i can't help! But i'm sure you can find some tutorials out there! 3:Set the AI package to wander with a distance of 0. Good Luck with your modding, i know i need some with mine!!! ^_^
