Tanelorne
Quick question. This is my first time through MW. I finished Daggerfall many years ago and am LOVING this one. I joined the Thieves Guild in Balmora and the Fighters Guild in Balmora. I have done:Thieves Guild-Steal a diamond-Nerano Manor Key-Dwemer Artifacts-Vintage Brandy Warriors Guild-Cave Rats-Shulk Egg Poachers-Telvanni agents (one non aggressive thief, taunted) Legion (not in guild)-Bloodbath-nord bandit My fame is 3 and bounty is 0. However, my legion faction is constantly dropping. Down to 34/100 now with all guards. Whats going on? Thanks so much!
Marxist ßastard
Yes, that's the faction reaction... Whenever you rise in rank, the disposition of each member of an opposing faction is modified. This chart should help you with that aspect of the game, though it's always best to get your Speechcraft and Personality up a bit before resorting to juggling factions in order to get NPC dispositions up. Oh, and since that chart is known to be unreliable at times, it would be best to check up on faction reactions you have questions about in the console. The command to do so is as follows... GetFactionReaction "FactionOne" "FactionTwo"

Tanelorne
Oh, and do items make a difference?? Like for legion having to wear the curaiss. I have a Sixth House Bell Hammer from Assemanu and a 6th House Amulet. I was saving them for quests. Hammer is heavy though would love to lose it especially if its why all these sleepers keep talking to me now in the cities. ** Oh sorry about that. Will edit next time. Was just wondering if equipment also effected factions.

Peregrine
No, the bell hammer has no effect (that I know of). And since the 6th house is not a joinable faction and most of them attack on sight, I doubt you ever will, outside a mod.
