wargod2013
Hello everyone. Please forgive me if this is not the correct place but due to reddit having issues with my account, I am currently unable to ask for help there. I believe I have FINALLY finished the agonizing procedure of setting up Skyrim's mods to where I can finally play the dang game. However I was having issues with Wrye Bash in that I don't know what the hell needs a bashed patch, despite watching videos such as the ones from GamerPoets. So I just followed the beginners guide on Reddit and just made a bashed patch for the leveled lists. Now Mod Organizer is noticing nothing wrong and seems to be happy with my list and plugins. Obviously I want to make sure that all of my mods will be working properly in game and that for example my multiple item mods will all be present in game. The mod I am most concerned about is the Immersive Patrols mod which is the single most important mod for me. It was highlighted orange in wrye bash but I believe that is fine. I was wondering if an experienced modder could take a look at my Modwat.ch profile and see if everything looks good. http://www.modwat.ch/u/TemplarTeppo Please forgive me if I posted this incorrectly. Thank you for any help!

Thank you for any help!I'm not quite sure what you're asking for. A stamp of approval? Don't make mods for the community. Make mods for you, and you only. As a modder who's somewhat successful, I can say I do what makes me happy, but at the same time I try to conform to the requests of the users on any of my mods. Say my mod works for most people, but the general census is that they want a certain thing changed, I'll change it. Say one person wants something, and nobody else wants it, I most likely will not do it just for one person.
wargod2013
I believe you are mistaken. My post was asking for someone to see if my load order is good as well as seeing if anything else needs fixing, by going to my profile on modwat.ch. That site is for uploading load orders, mod lists, ini files. It's not for posting mods to be downloaded. I am also confused as to which of my plugins need a bashed pach. As far as I can tell from your short (but very impressive, I must say those are some great mods) load order, you don't need one. I don't screw around with Wrye Bash unless there is an issue I haven't been able to solve for like a week. Stick to MO and LOOT.
IsharaMeradin
Looking at your short mod list, you will need to use a bashed patch in order to get all those weapons to be usable by enemies or found as loot. Doing a bashed patch is simple and what you describe should be fine. I've had a couple of those mods in my game at one point or another and they do indeed affect the leveled lists. In some cases the same ones. If you don't do a bashed patch, the last one to load for that list gets its items in the game. Should you decide not to do a bashed patch, please note that all the items should remain craftable just not all discoverable. **************************** You mentioned that a particular mod had an orange color. According to the Wrye Bash documentation: Some of the plugin's masters are in a different order than what is specified in the plugin. This will generally be handled automatically by the game, but it may result in changes in-game.This means that LOOT changed the order of some parent masters that the mod expected to be in a certain order. (look to the right of the screen at the parent masters when the plugin is highlighted and you'll see which ones are out of order as they will be orange in color) Your choices are simple.1. leave it alone - should be fine.2. If possible drag-n-drop the parent masters till the plugin becomes green or blue3. If you cannot move position of the parent masters (i.e. USKP patches) and you really want it green/blue, load your entire load order in TES5Edit, right click on the plugin that was orange and select sort masters. Close and allow the changes to be saved. Edited December 18, 2015 by IsharaMeradin
wargod2013
First of all thank you both very much for the very helpful replies. Ishara: My one mod in Wyre Bash that is not green is the orange colored Immersive Patrols. I know that there is a chance it will work just fine but I really want to be certain that this mod works fully as it should as it is actually my favorite mod in the list. In fact if I could only play with one mod, it would be Immersive Patrols. Where would I drag and drop the parent masters? I can't do it in Wyre Bash. Would simply letting TES5Edit sort masters be the easiest and best way? The Wrye Bash readme says that if left alone the orange files will be dealt with automatically but that may result in changes in game. I don't think I want to risk Immersive Patrols not working 100%. Also As long as all items from all the mods are able to be crafted, that is the main thing for me, I suppose. Thanks again for any help!!!
IsharaMeradin
eww, someone had their master files screwed up when they made that mod. TES5Edit would be the way to go then. ************************************Side-note: Even if you don't make a bashed patch, it is still a good idea to have Wrye Bash on hand. Its color coding scheme is a good way to identify any issues with plugins and their masters.
wargod2013
Thank you very much Ishara. I did the edit in TES5Edit, and save the changes, yet I am too worried to take a look at the wyre bash now! Lel. I just want to play the game and am hoping this fixed the last of my problems with this modding. Thank you!
IsharaMeradin
LOL, you should load up WB just to make sure that the color corrected itself as intended. It isn't a scary program. Its installer option takes some learning, but just looking at the color scheme is totally harmless :P
