RoyBatterian
Does anyone know what would cause this? And how to fix it? It's driving me MAD. http://i.imgur.com/oBtlRR8.jpg
Nimboss
Hi Roy! Well I feel your frustration, been there also, and mad is just a simple word to describe what you feel. GECK has a notorious ill willed manner to put in "random" height coordinates, often havoc a whole cell out of sync with the rest of world space. That is what you see right now! What I usually do is to try smooth the world space in question in GECK, reshape it to what I want in GECK again and hope for the best.... It's lame I know, what I really would like to have is a tool that can penetrate an .esp .esm file and correct the anomalies that GECK "randomly" put in for world space coordinates. RoyBatterian
OK well that definitely has something to do with it, smoothing it made it worse. :D
chucksteel
@Roy I'm not sure this will help but you can change the water hight of individual cell and level it out that way. Open the cell in the GECK,Find the cell that looks low,Right click on it and edit,Change the water hight to match the correct one,Rinse and repeat until all water is the proper hight,I've had some success with this for my glass windows cells, the Rivet City home in particular but, I did have some issues with reflections and refraction that I never bothered to try to fix. (The issues were in the distance and well it seemed more trouble then it was worth in my case.)
RoyBatterian
Allright, I'll try messing with the water heights.
