blobbafatt
Hi all, I have been playing Fallout since 2, and I have used mods forever, but I am unfamiliar with their workings and what is currently possible. Basically, I have to go back to sanctuary or whatever settlement, dump all my junk on the ground and scrap it, unless I want to waste a lot of components, considering crafting will only use one component of an item and delete the rest. This takes quite a bit of time and seems unnecessary. I wanted to ask if this is possible (or it is already made): 1. Could it be made so if duct tape is needed for adhesive from the workshop, it "scraps" the item for all its components, and leave the unused materials in the workshop container. Or2. Could a button/doohickie be added so when junk is deposited into the workshop, it auto-scraps it? Honestly I am getting tired of hearing codworth give me crap about dropping items in my base. Thank you if you can give me suggestions.
Deleted2948850User
I wouldn't be a fan if items got auto scrapped, there are quite some items that are scrapable which can also be used as decoration(including some unique items). As for Codsworth giving you crap, try this; http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4645/?
seafaringgentleman
So its funny you bring this up because I am actually on the forums today because I want to start working on a mod that does this. This my first Fallout 4 mod so I can't guarantee anything but what I'm thinking of doing is making a crafting table version of the existing scrapping station where you can bring all your junk and scrap it there in a couple steps then store it as components in your workshop and be all set. I'll let you know how it goes.
