Easier way to chain/series link persistent initially disabled references?

Working on a massive amount of initially disabled references in a cell that I am using "stock" scripts for and wondered if anyone has an easier way to chainlink references together without opening each one up and choosing a link from reference window. Currently using a gaming pad and macros to do most of the work for me but it is still too slow and monotonous and tedious for me.

• Create an Xmarker to be your enabling parent,
• Hit the " - " key you'll get a new batch window,
• choose enabling parent,
• set the enabling parent to your Xmarker
• select all ref's which will get enabled by that parent
• Hit OK

you have now batch connected all the ref's

 

Note: this window can be a little buggy and takes some getting used to so start slow just do a few ref's at first until you get the hang of it.

Without using a picture I mean link in series IE 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> 6 -> 7

 

Not 1,2,3,4,5,6 -> ref

 

This is for stocking initially disabled items on shelves.
