Mr. Handy Curie after quest.

I was assuming that by "Synth body" they meant the synths you fight or a series 1. Now Curie looks stupid and the only companion I cared about is dull and just like everyone else.

I tried everything to hack the old Curie back but the game is hard coded with her as a dull chick.

I want the option to get the old curie back or an option in the quest itself to tell her you love her just as she is want want her to stay a robot.

I would take a mod that simply swaps her synth form for her robot form so she never actually changes.

This issue has caused me to be rather jaded and depressed on my main playthrough now, I screwed up my only friend!!! This has all but broken my playthrough as it is now tainted by this.

it would probably be easier for immersion to have her new body be an earlier model of synth, that way the quest and dialogue wouldn't need to be changed, only the appearance

I would assume that to actually change the dialogue would mean having to wait until the construction kit is released

I was actually thinking swapping her synth form for a gen 1 painted white would suit her rather well. The institute synths are already her color but I don't think they match her charm.

I was also thinking that it makes far more sense that Curie would want to "copy" herself over to the new body so she can literally be 2 places at once. Imagine how much better her research would be if she had the synth body to stay at home and tinker while the robot Curie goes on adventures and collects more data.

This might also help alleviate her concerns for running out of data storage and being forced to delete older data as she would have 2 Curie's to store her data.

I don't care about immersion, it broke my immersion right quick to lose her and have to go into the console to try to fix her.

I feel you. I always play with Lone Wanderer perk, till I met Curie (so cuteee), but she becomes bland after the body swap. Luckily, I still have the previous save.

 

Curie should have branching quest lines where she chooses to remain as miss nanny.

or where she chooses to copy herself and then you have the choice of either Curie for a companion while the other stays home experimenting.

Resurrecting this thread because I'd love such a mod as well, she's so cute as a Mr Nanny.

Just getting back into FO4 and yeah... I kind of don't play with Curie as my companion anymore after realizing she'd just be a boring synth :/ I'd love to see her back in a Mr. Handy/Miss Nanny after you finish her quest line!

Personally always preferred the Mr. Handy version, so some kind of mod for this'd be awesome.

The gen 3 stuff is just terribly dull. Does let you give her some half-decent armor and weaponry, I admit, but it just isn't worth it to me. If I wanted another human follower, there's plenty of others.

I guess you'd lose a lot of the sense for dialogue, what with comments she makes about new human senses and all, but I say it'd be worth it. I'm sure I can suspend my disbelief for my qt robot back.
