Madrias
This has finally convinced me to start a playthrough where I try to see things from the other side of the conflict. I suppose the only reason for that was... Well, the fact that normally, kicking the Empire out of Skyrim never seemed like it would get anywhere, whereas playing a Legion character, I always felt it was more that you've stopped the petty civil war and now can focus on the Aldmeri Dominion. However, by constantly doing that, I may have picked up a few misconceptions about 'those damn Stormcloak rebels' and thereby have never properly played through a character allied with the 'cloaks. This, from the sound of it, deals with some of those 'loose ends' of a Stormcloak playthrough. I like the fact that it's Stormcloak-Only, as well. The Empire, while they'd have to deal with a lot of the same problems, has infinite resources by comparison to the Stormcloaks. By that alone, the Empire is almost always the side I've taken (logic, after all, is a powerful ally at times) due to the fact that, one- you're not left with a war on two fronts, and two- you're not land-locked with a country that would rather see you starve. From just reading the description in the first post, this promises to fix the problems keeping me from doing a Stormcloak playthrough. It's no longer "Empire's gone, Skyrim lives happily ever after." Instead, it promises to be a strong fight to keep Skyrim alive, to prove to the people that this was the right decision, with implications far beyond finding groups of Legion soldiers out in the wilds and killing them. With the Empire thrown out, my rough predictions (and note, these are very rough predictions) for what happens next:1: Immediate trade embargo between Skyrim and Cyrodiil. Fairly obvious results - loss of food sources, lack of communication through mail, prices for hard-to-find goods go up, over-abundance of trade goods with no one to buy them leading to a shortage of money.2: Travel permissions revoked between Skyrim and Cyrodiil. Fairly obvious results - Loss of trade, Khajiit caravans no longer able to get unique trading goods through normal means (potential Khajiiti Black Market?), bandits become more bold as any trade goods are worth more than usual.3: Aldmeri Dominion blockades shipping lanes. Fairly obvious results - loss of trade and communication with other countries, making it harder to gather allies, trade for supplies, or simply get the mail through. Needless to say, at that point, Skyrim needs to be 100% self sufficient to survive. Also, I'd be expecting battles with pockets of invading Thalmor looking to create trouble. If I were to hazard a guess, the Thalmor would be burning crops and salting fields (severely reducing the ability to feed the population) as well as just outright killing civilians instead of Stormcloaks. I would also guess there'd be a fair share of racial discrimination against elven races. Then again, those are just somewhat my guesses on what could happen. I look forward to seeing what will happen. Especially looking forward to seeing how to get Skyrim back on track. After all, I'm actually excited for once to play as a Stormcloak. This would be the first time I've ever finished the Civil War on Ulfric's side. (closest I'd gotten previously was Season Unending. Don't remember whether I'd taken Markarth or not, but it was back in early 2012.)
Guest deleted2159825
@MadriasI appreciate the thoughtful response! This is merely a prologue of sorts, but I'm hoping to set the stage for larger events.

1SaBy
So I need to install The Someguy Series (Skyrim) and then Blood of the Nord. No need to do anything with the Sword of Sigdan (finshed) or Roderick Redbeard (still ongoing), right?
Guest deleted2159825
@1SaBy You don't need to do Sword of Sigdan or Roderick (heh) in order to play the mod. Those mods are completely optional.
Guest deleted2159825
EDIT: Nevermind - mod will be going back up soon with a potential fix. Stupid goddamn packaging. Edited March 6, 2016 by someguy2000

1SaBy
This is why I don't play v1.00 of questmods. :D@1SaBy You don't need to do Sword of Sigdan or Roderick (heh) in order to play the mod. Those mods are completely optional. I was actually asking whether I need to needed to do something "technical", "computer-y" outside of the game. Because The Someguy Series (Skyrim) now exists.
