poopgoblin
Okay, I've downloaded a few sweet looking mods. I've installed them (correctly), but now I can't find the mod's .esp in the Data Files. Assistance please.
Abramul
Try unzipping them again in an empty directory.
poopgoblin
Negatory, didn't work.
Povuholo
Are you sure there is there a esp file in the zip (or rar, or 7z) file? Some mods like texture replacers and U.I. replacers don't have any. If you can find the esp file in there, and extract only the esp, it can't really go wrong can it?
poopgoblin
What if there was an .esp AND a folder for meshes and textures and I extracted all?
elpiggo
A stupid question, but you never know: Did you unzip them to Oblivion\Data?

cyronarxes
 Interesting. Perhaps the esp's or mod which you downloaded are broken. However i really suspect there is something wrong with your self extracter. Try manually copying the esps and pasting them in you oblivion/ data directories. If this works, then your self extractor is broken. if not tell me because I would find that rather interesting.
TheTerminator2004
If they were broken, they would still show up, it would just tell you that you couldn't activate them because they were broken. If they're .zip files, use the Windows built-in extractor. Otherwise, try Izarc. If nothing else works, you could try reinstalling Oblivion, there may be something wrong with that. poopgoblin
No, I don't think anything is wrong with any extractors. There's only one or two mods that won't show up, but all the other mods do.
