"My Head is Full of F*CK!" Or "'Tis but a Scratch!"

Ok, not really.

 

But I have a weird thing going on with my character's head, and it seems to be saved to my character. There are red blobs that look kinda like the meaty chunks from when a character's head explodes on his jawline and on his nose.

 

It looks kinda odd, even if there is a slight "I just exploded an enemy and don't give a sh*t about being covered in his entrails" aspect to the look. It just doesn't fit with my thin, glasses-wearing INT/CHA focused character.

 

And there's the problem that, when I go into sneak mode in first person view, the blob becomes visible, right in the dead center of my screen, taking up a good chunk of my vision. Which, of course, could be problematic, as even though I prefer the 'powered armor machine of death' approach, I do usually open fights by sniping as many enemies as possible.

 

Anyone have any idea what causes this? Or how to fix it? It seems to be permanent, as restarting the game doesn't seem to fix it.

 

Wearing power armor seems to be a temporary fix, as most of the time the glitch goes away once I hop into a set of armor, but it's not always.

I'd say it's a mod gone astray, not Fallout 4 itself.

 

Try this:

 

Try opening the showlooksmenu on your character with opening the console, (the key next to your 1 on your keyboard) and type in: showlooksmenu 14

This will open the character's look configuration. Try playing with the settings.

 

If that doesn't help, I'd try the mod-help section of the board.
