Currently, if you go into the workbench and take any normal laser receiver, put a sniper barrel on it and start looking at your options for a grip you will find something odd. Choosing (for example) the Sharpshooters pistol grip will raise the damage of the weapon while the choosing a compensating stock will lower the damage.

In other words, a laser sniper rifle has less damage than a laser sniper pistol.

Maybe this was intentional. Maybe some sort of balancing. If it was it was not done very well

What I suggest is changing this so that there is no penalty or benefit to the damage of the weapon based on the player's choice of stock/grip.

And while I am suggesting that, could we get an additional info box that tells us recoil while building a weapon instead of having to go of vague descriptions of what the weapon parts do?

Thanks and keep those mods coming! I have seen some amazing things already and the GECK isn't even out yet!

I do actually. After a quick check I see I have more points in gunslinger than I do in rifleman. I did not expect to see the difference in the workbench. Well that is nifty. And made me look like a fool

The numeric indicator of recoil is still a good idea though I think
