BadReplicant
is there aney chance aneyone could give us a mod that unlocks more paintings or posters to be placed in our settlementsI believe people are working on these already. Search the Mod Request forum. I know I've seen more than one post. When the Creation Kit (GECK) comes out, I'm sure there will be an endless supply of decorations to choose from. I think everyone is hoping for it to come within the next couple months.
Moraelin
Not sure if there are many more of them, beyond what already unlocks later if you do a quest or two. Otherwise, I think unlocking them should be a fairly easy and painless thing even with FO4Edit. Edit: hmm... been kinda tempted to add a few classic paintings myself, but don't hold me to it. Moraelin
Well, map editing is NOT easy without a CK. Or at least not for me. Editing properties for items is one thing, but making a map by editing coordinate numbers... you can probably see how that would get rather uncomfortable fast. Anyway, just unlocking an endless supply of reproductions for the players to place as they wish in settlements would probably be a lot easier, than placing them in a museum. Moraelin
ASCII and ye shall receive: Museum Paintings. I only included 8 portraits at this point, because, well, it's almost midnight, and it might take a few more hours to sort out what's already included from what's not. Moraelin
And I wrote a tutorial of sorts for other people on how to add their own paintings, so I don't have to do all the work myself :p http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3602430-tutorial-making-new-paintings-and-other-material-swaps-for-fo4/ The process is very similar for other texture swaps too, like clothing or armour or weapons or even walls/floors/furniture. That'd be a lot of work. I didn't mean to suggest that, just a missed opportunity for the Commonwealth. And I added some new classic paintings too: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6986/? Own a looted Da Vinci, yo! :wink:Nicely done.
