Justy311
Okay, so my game was having some issues. Like, my AMD settings were not registering it as being installed even though it was. So, I uninstalled it, cleared out all the folders and reinstalled it. It auto detected my settings, set me to ultra. I went in to set some of my things back to normal and noticed I was capped at 30 frames per second, not 60. I figured okay, just a glitch or something. I finished setting up my colors and such and exited. Used my AMD optimization feature and got it set to optimal performance... go back in and I'm still capped at 30 frames. So, I open up my Prefs.ini and turn off the presentinterval... naturally this the Vsync and my frames jump up to 500+. I turn back on presentinterval to see if it'll reset it and it does, but back to 30 frames. Now, I know that I can turn off presentinterval and use riva to set the frame cap. I've tried it several times and I get screen tearing still. I've looked, but I can't seem to figure out how to do V-sync through AMD with the new way, so yeah. I've been trying to just use the in game feature but being capped at 30 FPS is a pain, and to make matters worse for some reason I get stuttering in interiors. Exteriors runs just fine at 30 FPS all the time... inside I drop to 22 ish in some areas, or during dialogue. This is kind of the opposite of what I had before, where exterior would drop to 30ish frames instead of 60 in high rendering zones while interiors were always smooth 60... so I'm confused on that too.
