Vaernus
Although the Prawn (whatever, Phone) needs coolant too. Yea and they explicitly mention that the Prydwen's fusion reactor was the one they "borrowed" from Rivet City. Confusing, but maybe their nuclear technology went a far different route than ours. Athanasa
Oh well. It gives us some more quests, and a reason to have a Vbird landing pad by Red Rocket. Explanation in GDoc.
Scribblesix
Off topic and regarding the UK's new nuclear plants, people are aware that they are paying the CHINESE to build the f*#@ing thing right? the same people with a long and proud history of nuclear safety and innovative reactor design. Whereas the French where even allowed to bid. f*#@it. Anyway I don't think any of the existing companions would be interested in joining the BoS, well... maybe Cait afters shes been cleaned up and is going bonkers. Re the reactor exploding, I honestly either wouldnt touch it or kick it into the long grass as an ancillary project, it'd be a LOT of work for fairly meager rewards. Soo.... being still unable to read google docs whats the basic structure for the mod so far? 'Militarize' the BoS' encampments (Drill instructors, pushups, firing ranges) Add 'Boot camp miniquest' (how to use power armour ect) Improve, if poss AI, particularly that of vertibirds. Add interactions with the Minutemen or possibly railroad to form truces/alliances. Allow BoS settlements? More varied path to endgame (institute nullification) with effects of endgame terrain. Add endgame missions? (The sentinel missions proposed by Ath)
Athanasa
And lots of side assault / scavenge / recon quests. Although I guess they're post MQ. Depending on how much VA we can get, those quests could go from "oh another clear area quest" to, "I'm curious to see what we find here". I think the biggest strength of the more - in terms of play value - will end up being the characters, immersion and having the results of your missions actually do something in game. Apologies for typos, went out of mobile view and now I can't select words to fix them.

Confusing, but maybe their nuclear technology went a far different route than ours. I'd chalk that up to Bethesda writers just being completely ignorant of anything related to actual nuclear power. But then, the average person is fairly ignorant in general. So there is that. They aren't going to surrender so they need to be destroyed. 5. I would say not directly. The BoS can offer support to the people of the Commonwealth via the Soul Survivor. If teamed with the Minutemen, have the Minutemen managing the settlements. 6. Yes, for the love of Gaben, YES. 7. As many as can reasonably be fit into the story without them feeling forced or gimmicky. There should be a few mid-story quests tossed in there to pad out some lulls. Like the squad missions, gathering technology and not just document candy. Etc. P.A.M. would be an amazing asset to the Brotherhood if it were possible to somehow bring it into the Brotherhood. Athanasa
I think there's already a quest to steal P.A.M? I think I heard it mentioned somewhere.

They just told me to kill everything. Found it. Odd, never got that option. Edited January 2, 2016 by TotalMeltdown

Yea in fact when you talk to PAM inside Quinlan's office, she talks about all the benefits she's providing for the Brotherhood. Lines such as increasing efficiency of vertibirds, the food, the reactor, their computer systems, etc. She's able to provide better tactics for the various enemies in the Commonwealth and predict various outcomes. I can see these being tangible changes to the game as well. And if the player hasn't done the "cache" missions from PAM when she is with the Railroad, and they are quite literally salvage missions of high tech, they should be allowed to continue with those.
