LegendOfGary
this one may have a mod or tweak already and i just cant think of how to properly phrase it, if so i apologize and will gladly take pointers to this info, but... when in a settlement and i disable an item; say in the drive-in i remove the diner; objects that would have been hidden by the disabled object disappears and, then pops back in as i move around this area.another example is if you disable the brick windows in the castle and look through the now open window objects start popping in and out as you would not normally be able to see them. Ethreon
Probably cause you are not supposed to go around disabling things randomly, more so when they are large objects that game expects to be there in order to build LOD. No mod can fix that at the moment.
diamok
Try the markfordelete command. Unlike disable, which only removes the visual state of the object in game, markfordelete will remove the reference of the object from the save entirely. Take care,
LegendOfGary
thanks for the suggestion diamok, i gave it a shot but didnt have any luck. i may go try an older save and see if it works there. if not i will wait and see what comes out, or tinker with it myself. Ethreon
Markfordelete will not help with object culling or LOD issues due to object deletion. Using it has no effect other than actually deleting the object and being unable to retrieve it (unlike disable).
LegendOfGary
actually disable can be retrieved later as well, so long as you can find the id of the object disabled. 123456.enable for example will recover whatever was associated with that. i did it first after accidentally disabling my companion. and while testing something with this culling issue. i was able to grab the ids of each part of the diner and restore it. Kead
well not a mod but a console command TPC (toggle pre culling) fixes that problem in settlements the downside is have to toggle it back on when leave settlements or seems to cause issues with sprinting and possibly lag as game loads depending on settings / PC.
